FairWays
The FairWays research project combines science and industry for the targeted development of our NFC-based platform for fairs.
Within the CreateMedia.NRW project, NFC21 GmbH cooperates with the Chair of Interactive Systems at the University of Duisburg-Essen to break down our trade fair platform into reusable modules. The objective is to make the FairWays System usable for exhibition stands of any size and to advance the digitalization of information transfer in the context of trade fairs.
Accordingly, the expertise of the research partner will be combined with the practical experience of NFC21 GmbH to design an efficient yet flexible system for designing interactive fairs. For this purpose, necessary modules (e.g. NFC scan points, registration stations) will be classified and necessary degrees of freedom for their configuration will be identified. Based on a prototypical implementation, the design will be tested for future productive use. The modular system created by the project should enable the flexible composition of a course for a given scenario from stand size and budget.
