Our wristbands can be used to implement attractive and convenient solutions for access control based on NFC.
A sustainable solution for access control based on NFC was sought. The specifications for the wristband were one-time use and individual printing, whereas the NFC chip should be reusable to keep costs low and avoid unnecessary waste. These requirements, which at first sight sounded contradictory, could be solved by a product that considers the NFC chip and wristband as two individual components.
As a result of these requirements, a fabric wristband was combined with a PVC slider. The NFC chip was installed in a printable PVC carrier, which can be pulled over the wristband thanks to a corresponding cut-out and thus reused as often as desired. The fabric wristband itself was equipped with a closure that only allows for one-time use. This wristband was manufactured exclusively for BMW Motosport. Meanwhile this wristband is also ordered at other events by different operators.
