Realisation of intelligent giveaways based on NFC wristbands that allow trade fair visitors to take home information digitally.
A wristband especially for trade fair use was sought that could be both individually printed and easy to put on. The NFC chip itself was to be attached to a central location with a marker for easy use. Furthermore, the NFC chip should be protected against moisture and wetness (washing hands).
As a result of the given requirements, an elastic fabric wristband was designed, which integrates an NFC chip embedded in PVC. An additional dart over the NFC chip simultaneously marks its position and offers the possibility of placing an additional logo. Due to the elasticity of the material, the wristband is easy and quick to put on and adjusts to the size of the wrist. As a standard product in our shop we currently offer it in two sizes. For events, an intermediate size is suitable, which covers both small and large wrists satisfactorily.
